This is a design and concept board I made for a Stand Up to Cancer PSA, that was to be shot by Errol Morris. He would be interviewing all different types of people who are affected by cancer. The purpose was to show that everybody is affected by cancer, even the people who don't have it know somebody who does. My concept was to have orange overlays during each individual interview, so that the viewer questions what they are there for. Even the interviewees on all white backgrounds have orange glows reflecting on their faces. Then at the end it is revealed that the orange overlays connect to make a statistic about cancer. For example, 1 in 3 people have cancer or 1500 people die everyday from cancer. This way the viewer has a very visual way of understanding the statistic on a personal level that relates to specific people.
